LOGRAS, from the Spanish word “lograr” or “to achieve,” is an acronym for Latino Organization of GRAduate Students and is the first graduate student group for Latino and Hispanic students in the history of Georgia Tech (GT).

The main goals of LOGRAS are to promote the academic and professional development of our members while fostering a culture of excellence, leadership, as well as social and political consciousness. We hope to strengthen the bond between our members while facilitating the transition of new Latino and Hispanic graduate students to GT, including newly arrived international students. Lastly, we aim to actively recruit underrepresented Latino and Hispanic students into STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
